What is motivation?
It is a natural human combination of fighting spirit and enthusiastic soul to accomplish the desired task. Motivation encourages us to think positive, makes our mind constructive and keeps our burning desire alive-‘the ingredients for success.’

Why do we all need motivation?
In this selfish and tough world, where everything glares murderously, we need our struggling strength to be alive and motivation keeps our spirit high.

Ways to keep your spirit motivated all the time:
Keep reading motivational books with the realization that you are mastering over it and the day will not be far when you find yourself as a motivational guru for your own circle and for the people who are still struggling for success. Elders will bless you, Youngers will obey you, strugglers will follow you, successors will find their own image in you and welcome you in their list, history will leave a place for you. What else do you need?

Don’t expect or panic for positive results; success comes to those who do not have enough time to waste in thinking about when it would arrive. You have all the qualities to win so why to wait for any additional and extra excellence to go ahead? If you have that extra, take it as incentive or bonus.
Ask yourself ‘Why do you compete with others and find it difficult to win?’
The answer of the first question would be: “Simply to achieve success” and the second: “don’t have lofty guts to fight.” In Robin Sharma’s book ‘A monk who sold his Ferrari’ what profoundly revolutionized my inside, is how strategically Julian Mantel changed his track to cope up with the rat race of life according to the claim of difficulties. We fear of changes which are wrapped up with difficulties whereas success is hidden inside.

While reading the book ‘The power of now’, I found the writer saying in objectionable tone that some monks think enlightenment is only for Buddha, they do not deserve it.
That’s what exactly happens in our lives. We fail to get success because we consider we do not deserve it, it’s for great people, but if we genuinely study about the stories of successful people, we would find their position to be weaker and helpless than that of us. We are doing nothing but developing a habit of negativity and becoming victim of making excuses.

We think we do not have enough to go ahead, why do not we think what we have others do not have? Successful people started their journey with nothing but achieved everything through struggle on the way to success.

Robin Sharma said ‘to do something extraordinary you have to feel extraordinarily’. Nice comment! But what surprises me is when we read or hear great sayings we praise it, but quite regrettably do not apply these. Think! If we all used 20% of those, where we would be?

Quite often I have heard people praising ‘he is extraordinary’ that mean you are chased by your unfriendly and injustice thoughts about your positive personality that you are capable of doing anything on your own. Why do you feel that you are ordinary? That feeling makes you ordinary. We all are special, what you need to do is to discover what you are good at and unique from others. You will automatically find yourself to be extraordinary.

We don’t want to take help; it’s a matter of smashing ego to us. We should remember everybody need helping hand to grow in their lives. It motivates to think that they have something unique worth helping others.
There was a man who would feel proud because he had the most expensive car ‘Ferrari’ with which he used to go to receive his wife from office. One day, while he was waiting outside for his wife, saw a beggar, sitting on a bench, at a little distance from him. He expected the beggar to come to him for help, but it didn’t happen. After waiting for a long time his pride overwhelmed him and pushed him to ask: ‘Do you need help?’
The beggar looked at him, smiled and replied: ‘don’t we all?’

If you are criticized for unsuccessful attempts, do not stop experimenting and motivating yourself, be mature enough to think you are on track. All great strugglers and leaders were initially laughed at for their hundred failure attempts but the same people took inspiration from the same failures. Therefore, failures are nothing but experiments for one big success. Thomas Elbow Edison failed more than two thousand times to invent bulb and when his failure attempts were questioned, he innocently said, “I have proved that through those techniques one can’t make bulbs.” So take failure as your motivational leader.

Develop habit of reading, at least for half an hour. If you think you do not have, think you have the same quantity of minutes and seconds as all successful people had or has in daily life. But if you do not have sufficient energy to read Gita or Vedas because of their tough speech, then go through some motivational books which will be the substitution or the need of needful readers. Those will open another entrance of amazing life where you are pretty aware of your own hidden excellence and gift of wisdom you are blessed with.

Respects your intuition and inner voice and let them express their own ideas; now offer the responsibility to your conscious mind to judge them practically, it makes your difficulty to take decision easily.
Keep smiling. It costs nothing but helps others to understand that you are confident and take inspiration from you. Humor is another instrument which helps us to escape from dullness of everyday life. According to Dr. Robert ‘It allows us to laugh at our fears, tensions and helps us to build spiritual and emotional muscles.’
Your challenge would be not to get success as soon as possible but how to fail fast to get success.

Let’s learn to learn
Today students, who are known to be meritorious and have been scoring well, end up persistence by cursing and blaming when they find themselves unemployed and failing interviews continuously. They become frustrated and end up doing low profile job instead of analysing the areas of improvement. They are unknown that have been betraying with their intelligence by rote learning. It emphasises the holistic approach towards thinking and global perspective. They have learnt not to learn but to memorise, not to take inspiration but to imitate.
Rote learning is a learning technique through which one achieves mastery in recalling, memorizing and imitating the facts and figures they have learnt inside the classroom. It also can be said as a meaningless surface knowledge which is unrelated to real experiences and damages the efficiency of brain’s potential capacity. They remain bookish which prevents them from awareness about the job market. Creative mind, not only uses the method of recalling, but also cultivates mind, fertilises the understanding and extracts something new from it. Why getting a job is a big thing for most of students? Why they get scared of interview? Simply they can’t give assurance of being worth of taking responsibility, to stand still in front of difficulties and compete with potential competitors in market. To become successful one has to improve personality, promote confidence level and techniques to sell himself/herself to win the faith of customer. Recalling does not help at all going ahead in career rather hamper the unique contribution. Job market needs some innovative and practical people who can take care of it practically and promote it through their ingenuity.
According to NASSCOM (National Association of Software Companies) more than 30% engineers are unemployable. They may be academically sound but don’t know what are the qualities required from a person to get a job; they lack technical knowledge, critical thinking and good command on communication skill.
What are the steps can be taken for it?
The first and foremost challenge would be to get rid of the self made trap-‘rote learning’. To get the job of own choice in this tremendous competitive era, one needs to become creative and knowledgeable; knowledge is the only instrument of becoming confident as well as successful.
They should prepare themselves to reply any kind of tricky question and should not be confused if the interviewer asked something which came out of the blue. If they fail the interview, they should not waste valuable time justifying themselves, rather point out the shortcomings to work on and give the best shot in forthcoming opportunities.
Positive attitude towards self as well as others is the main mantra of getting positive response from all. One might not know all but crave desire to learn makes him different and impressive.
Remember, the competition is with ourselves and have to win against weak points we possess; otherwise, all efforts and time spent will go in vain.

Rote learning can make one good but not expert; it can help a student to score highest in a state but not but not world famous. It, a repetition technique, locks one in what he has learnt. I have studied about the some greatest scientists Eientist, Isaac Newton. They were dull according to their school administrator because they were incapable of recalling or memorising. If we say they were exceptional, then why not to follow them? How will we become extraordinary or exceptional if we don’t think or feel extraordinary? Thinking big is the first step towards achievement.
One or two exceptional cases can be taken as scientific proof. Research is conducted by keeping not a general or common people -average as well as excellent. Through rote learning you are imitating other’s ideas not giving something unique to this world. Let the world realise your importance and distinctive contribution; ‘Do something that is worth being written or write something that is worth being read.’ My point is not to discourage anyone to take help of it but to develop the parallel thinking with the help of rote learning.
What is the purpose of reading book? Book is to inform us the facts. If you don’t know anything, how will we progress our thinking power. In ancient time, rote learning was the process but visualisation took place.
